Most of the time, you can easily speed your PC up by deleting your internet history and cookies. This is simple to do, First open your START menu (bottom left side of your screen), click Settings (on win Xp just click on Control Panel), then click on Control Panel. Once in control panel, Click on Internet Options, This is the Window that you will remove your temp files...To do this, first click on Delete Files....then put a checkmark in Delete all offline content,....click OK. Then click the Settings button, and choose the View Files button,..a page will pop up with all your temp files-Press your CONTROL key and the letter A key at the SAME time, this will highlight all your files..now press your DELETE key..press OK to ge back to main internet properties screen, now Press the Clear History button..there your done-if you use Win-XP you will also see a Delete Cookies button, you can click that too!!now choose OK and exit back to your desktop. If this still doesnt seem to be working, try rebooting/restarting your Computer, and you can also look in your windows folder on the C-drive for a TEMP folder, or TEMP INTERNET FILES folder - open them and delete the files inside.
